Spring Break Photo Restoration

This week we were to have taken pictures of our spring break. I then took my pictures and made two copies, one for a magazine and the other for an online source. The caption would read, "Many people travel from around the world to see "Cloud Gate," or more commonly known as "The Bean" by Anish Kapoor during their spring break."
I had a set of steps that needed to be completed for both photos. First, I changed the resolution size to 300 to fit the magazine size. Then I made tone adjustments by lowering some of the magenta and black tones, and adding some cyan tones. I also took away some of the yellow. I then sharpened the image. I then cropped away any of the background that was not necessary and saved it as a TIFF file.
To make the photo useable for the web, I then cropped the photo again to only focus on "The Bean." I then changed the resolution to 72, and resampled the sides to make them small enough for the internet. I changed it back to an RGB picture, as opposed to a magazines CYMK print. Lastly, I saved the photo as a JPG file and was ready to post.
